About Font Changer

Font Changer gives you a sandbox for type exploration. Instead of editing CSS, reloading, and guessing, you browse and apply fonts directly on the live page. It is a tool for the design phase of development — when you are deciding what a page should feel like, not just auditing what it already uses.

Browse the complete Google Fonts library inside the InspectDev panel. Filter by category (serif, sans, display, handwriting, monospace) or search by name.

Live Element Preview

Click any text element on the page and apply a new font. Changes render immediately — headlines, body copy, navigation, and UI labels alike.

Weight & Style Toggling

Scroll through available weights and italic variants for any font. Each combination previews in place so you can judge readability at actual size.

Export the Result

Once you settle on a combination, copy the Google Fonts @import URL or the CSS font-family stack — ready to paste into your stylesheet.

How to use

Open InspectDev and select Font Changer from the toolbar.

Click any text element on the page to see its current font and a list of suggested Google Fonts.

Search or browse the catalog to find a new typeface, then click to apply it. The page updates instantly.

Adjust weight and style from the panel to find the right variant for each context.

Copy the embed code or font-family stack once you are happy with the result.
